In order to share the latest events with all our dear family and friends from overseas, Anh-Dao and I have created this new blog. Exciting stories only!
Anh-Dao is in her 37th week of pregnancy. Her belly is huge and yummie! The kids seem to be happy inside, their firm kicks and boxes make their future father feel very proud. The last days of young couple life are counted and after a long emotional and organisational roller coaster trip we finally feel we're confident enough to face the challenge.
A big hug to my parents Peggy and Francis who came to bring steady sunshine and support through the difficult period of transition. The best pictures of that memorable time back in March this year are on our flickr album: Click here!
End of April, we joined a Hawaiian Wedding on Maui. This short holiday back to Polynesia was exactly what we needed - plenty of cheerful vibes, tropical sensations and great surf. Yes, we moved from the cool city-studio to our new home in Maroubra Beach. Nature here is abundant. Lucky enough we were welcomed by hundreds of humpback whales and some dolphins. The sound of the winter swell is cleansing our system from the noise, pollution and the frequent medical screenings in the hospital. I think we're really doing great for the circumstances.
Time flies. A normal pregnancy takes 40 weeks. That's plenty of time to get prepared. If you expect twins you have 3 weeks less. Now if you - like us - only discover the pregnancy after week 8, you'll only have 6 months left to deal with the double trouble. Of course you'd better view from the other perspective: We actually saved a lot of time by getting 2 kids from one single pregnancy, and we'll instantly double the number of our family. We are now so excited and impatient to meet those two little ones!
